>From early youth, Petr Jandácek was fascinated with the architecture,
inventions and philosophy of R. Buckminster Fuller, who was a professor
emeritus at Southern Illinois University when Petr was a doctoral student
there.

After moving back to Los Alamos, he and his wife and children built geodesic
domes. During this time, he conducted an extensive correspondence with Fuller.
Petr has taught art in Los Alamos schools for more than 30 years.

Petr Jandacek will be presenting this Chautauqua program at Socorro Public
Library at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 28, in the second floor meeting room.
Admission is free and all are invited.

We are on a spaceship; a beautiful one. It took billions of years to develop.
We're not going to get another. Now, how do we make this spaceship work?
